Noches de jazz presenta: Diego Franco
Jazz Nights is a program with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of jazz in Mexico City. Over the years, it has established itself as a platform that offers musical experiences for audiences interested in contemporary art and music.
This month Diego Franco (Guadalajara, 1992), who has played saxophone and clarinet for concerts, recordings and experiments in various ensembles and genres, arrives at the auditorium of the Museo Diego Franco (Guadalajara, 1992). Composer of an original work, he has produced Chilacantongo and Pulp and Guilt. On this jazz night he will present his most recent work: Cloudy music.

Diego Franco settled in Mexico City in 2011, the year in which he won the Pan-American competition of the Faculty of Music of the UNAM in his jazz saxophone category. He has played in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Canary Islands, Colombia, the United States and Canada. He has more than a dozen musical collaborations on the record materials of artists such as: Juan Ale Saenz, Luri Molina, Bahía de Ascenso, Troker, Silvana Estrada, Ampersan, Laura Itandehui, Paté de Fua, Friego, Leika Mochán, Benjamín García, Daniel Me Estás Matendo, and many others. He has performed live with great artists such as: Ali Jackson, Henry Cole, Alex Sipiagin, Los Socios del Ritmo, Zinco Big Band, Scott Kinsey, Gary Novak, Hugh Jackman, OFUNAM, Acerina and his Danzonera, in addition to those mentioned in record collaborations, among many others.
He has also played on large stages, festivals and musical forums across the country and in some places abroad, such as the SF Jazz Center in San Francisco, Monterey Jazz Festival in California, Panama Jazz Festival, Expo Dubai, Sala Neza, Arena Mexico City, Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris, Teatro Metropolitan, and others.
