The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Situated around 1981, the date of the inauguration of the Museo Tamayo, and 1991, the year of the death of Rufino Tamayo, and the longest total solar eclipse of the 20th century, the exhibition Before the Eclipse. Archeologies of Art in Mexico proposes a retrospective look at artistic practices and explorations at the edge of time and history, which anticipate central interests for contemporary art today: the ecological crisis, the resignification of the popular and the mythical, as well as the critical reflection of national history.

The exhibition presents works by Mexican and foreign artists —fundamental to current art— who lived and worked in Mexico during the eighties and early nineties. Their works arise from experiences marked by exile, as well as by reflections on the archaeological past, the historical landscape, the vernacular and the sociocultural phenomena of the time. In an era marked by the discovery of the Templo Mayor in the heart of Mexico City, a profound economic crisis, a devastating earthquake, and a total solar eclipse, the exhibition revolves around the cultural, political and national transitions that were essential to the artistic imaginary of the time.

The more than 100 works included in this exhibition —including sculptures, drawings, videos, paintings and installations— constitute a constellation of works that, in addition to encompassing a transgenerational perspective, are not part of any artistic current, nor do they belong to the trends generally associated with the 1980s. These are works that do not emerge from the political and countercultural currents that operated as a result of the actions of the artistic groups of the seventies.

On the 45th anniversary of the Museo Tamayo, Before the Eclipse. Archeologies of Art in Mexico establishes a dialogue with the thinking of Rufino Tamayo and the first decade of the museum, and represents an effort to reconsider the decisive role of history in the ways of making and imagining art today.
