Amandititita. Amanda Escalante Pimentel's musical proposal is a fusion of traditional cumbia with urban rhythms, whose lyrics portray everyday life, machismo and urban culture of Mexico City in an ironic and direct way. Graduated from the Sociedad de Escritores de México (SOGEM) and La Dinámica de los Escritores. She was part of the theater company Aves de Paso. She debuted in 2008 with the album La Reina de la Anarcumbia, from the Sony Music label. He later presented La Descarada, from the same label, and independently Mala fama and Pinche amor. In 2014 she published her first book Trece latas de atún, published by Penguin Random House. She worked for the news media for two years Sin embargo and then a year for La capital. She has collaborated for Milenio, Proceso and Letras libres.
