Alfredo Muench. Guitarist and singer-songwriter born in Mexico City. He began his training in guitar, drums, piano and singing at an early age. He studied at Berklee College of Music, in the United States, where he deepened his knowledge in composition, performance and musical production.

He currently has more than 40 songs published on digital platforms and has developed a career that combines musical creation with sound production and exploration. He has been presented at several forums in Mexico, the United States and Spain. His most recent projects include the group Xico Mora, based in Mexico City.

Alfredo Muench's music is distinguished by its sensitivity, authenticity and expressive depth. His compositions connect with diverse audiences thanks to the honesty of his lyrics, a voice influenced by rhythm and blues and soul, as well as a remarkable virtuosity on the guitar. His musical language integrates elements of funk, blues, jazz and soul, giving rise to a contemporary and versatile proposal that transcends genres and boundaries. His songs, performed in both Spanish and English, have allowed him to reach audiences from different cultural backgrounds.

For this edition of Jazz Nights at the Museo Tamayo, Alfredo Muench will present compositions reinterpreted from the perspectives of jazz, funk and blues, in the company of Juan Augusto Muench, on bass, and Juan Pablo Rentería on drums.
